RTP, the Portuguese national broadcaster, have confirmed participation at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, in Switzerland.

RTP have launched Festival da Canção 2025 to select their entry for the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest. Song submissions for the public is open until Tuesday 15th October. Fourteen entries will come from invited songwriters, while the remaining six entries will come from the public submissions. Song writers and singers must be a resident of Portugal or Portuguese in nationality. The semi finals of Festival da Canção 2025 will take place in February, while the final will take place in March.
