
NRK, the Norwegian national broadcaster, will host the 2024 Eurovision Young Musicians, in Bodø, this forthcoming Saturday.
Whether you are new to Eurovision Young Musicians or are a long-term fan, we will be revisiting the most recent editions of the Contest, ahead of this year’s Contest on Saturday evening. Today we are looking back at Vienna 2012.
Martin Grubinger hosted the Contest at the Rathausplatz, following a semi final held at the Konzerthaus, which was hosted by Pia Strauss. Armenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Georgia and Ukraine all made their debut in the semi final, while Cyprus, Romania, Russia, Sweden and the United Kingdom all withdrew after the 2010 Contest.
The running order for the final was Belarus, Poland, Norway, Czech Republic, Germany, Armenia and Austria. Norway took victory, followed by Austria in second and Armenia third.
