RTK, the Kosovan national broadcaster, have written a letter to the EBU, the European Broadcasting Union, in regards to the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest.

Shkumbin Ahmetxhekaj, General Director of RTK, wrote the letter (which can be seen below) to Martin Österdahl, Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest and Noel Curran, General Director of the EBU. In the letter, Shkumbin Ahmetxhekaj is requesting participation at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest on an invitational basis – similar to that of Australia since 2015. Neither RTK or SBS, the Australian national broadcaster, hold full EBU membership.
