It is two weeks since SRG SSR, the Swiss national broadcaster won the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest, in Malmö, however host city interest has already begun for the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest.

Zurich City Council will decide whether or not if they will make a bid for the Host City, by the end of June. This will follow receiving and reviewing key information on the organisation of the contest, from SRG SSR. If Zurich decide to bid, the Hallenstadion, which is the second-largest indoor arena in Switzerland, is likely to be the venue used in the bid.
