RTE, the Irish national broadcaster, have recorded a record audience for the first time since they were last in the Grand Final, at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest, in Lisbon.
On Saturday night, for the Grand Final on RTE One, 666,000 viewers followed the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest live – which equates to a 54% viewer share. An additional 19,000 viewers tuned in via RTE One +1. These figures resulted in a 53% increase in viewership, compared to 2023.
While we have focussed on Irish audience figures following the 2024 Grand Final, we will do a round-up from across Europe in the following days.
