The Semi Final allocation draw has taken place in Malmo , Sweden, hosted by Pernilla Månsson Colt and Farah Abadi .The draw also included a draw to see which half of their respective semi final each country will perform in . Here are the results.

A separate draw also took place to see which semi Final the Big 5 plus host country Sweden will vote in .

As you can see , Ireland have been drawn in the first half of the First Semi Final . Israel were automatically placed in Semi Final 2 at their request, due to there being a National Memorial day at the time of the first semi final. They have been drawn in the second half of that semi final .

The host city Insignia exchange also took place where last year’s host city, Liverpool, officially handed over hosting duties to Malmö.
