Today the Danish Broadcaster DR has revealed the artists and songs that will compete in this year’s Danish Melodi Grand Prix, to be held on the 17th February at the DR Koncerthuset in the country’s capital city of Copenhagen . Eight acts will compete for the honour of representing Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden, just a short trip across the Øresund Bridge for the winner!. The eight acts selected are :
RoseeLu-“Real Love”
Stella-“Sign here”
Saba -“Sand”
Janus Wiberg-“I need your love”
Ublu-“Planetary Hearts”
Basim-“Johnny “
Aura Dione-“Mirrorball of Hope “

As you can see there is a familiar face in this line up. Basim represented Denmark at the 2014 , on home soil , when the contest was held in Copenhagen with “Cliche Love Song “. He finished in a very respectable 9th place.
You can see more information and clips of the songs via DR’s website HERE
Last year, Reiley won the honour of representing Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool,UK , with his song ”Breaking my heart “.Unfortunately, he was not successful in getting Denmark through to the final , which meant that it was the third year running that Denmark had failed to reach the Grand Final. Will they have a reverse of fortunes this year ?
