France Télévisions, the French national broadcaster, have announced they will not make an immediate decision on whether or not they will host the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
Stéphane Sitbon-Gomez, Director of Channels and Programs at France Télévisions, had the following to tell 20Minutes.fr:
“Concerning Junior Eurovision, we will first celebrate the victory. Afterwards, we will discuss, as we have done each time, with the EBU, too find out where it would be best. There are many countries that want to organise, we don’t want there to be a French monopoly on Junior Eurovision.
We take the time to discuss and think together. Today, we are especially happy and proud of what we were able to experience today.”
