ERR, the Estonian national broadcaster, have announced their intentions for the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest and beyond.
The Estonian Head of Delegation, Laura Kõrvits, has suggested potentially using ‘Tähtede Lava’ as their national selection process for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in the future. The next edition of ‘Tähtede Lava’ is due to take place in Spring 2024. The use of ‘Tähtede Lava’ will depend on available funding.
Laura Kõrvits, the Estonian Head of Delegation, had the following to say:
“We thought about what would be the biggest prize for winning this competition, and we thought that Junior Eurovision would be the best thing. We plan to change the format of this singing competition, it would be great if the winner would get to represent Estonia in Junior Eurovision.”
