#BIRTHDAY: Iveta Mukuchyan from Armenia is 37 today

Today we go to one of those countries who have been able to get things right with the junior version of our favourite TV show. Seven Top 2 places no less. But they’ve had a little less success at the big version.

If you’re from a certain country (maybe more than one), you may not like today’s choice. But a birthday’s a birthday and worth a little celebration. In 2016 we were Sweden (yawn), and watched today’s birthday girl Իվետա Մուկուչյան/Iveta Mukuchyan do her stuff for sunny Armenia (all seven of her at one point). Europe liked her and she came second in her semi-final to a certain R*s*i*n. Her fortunes in the final weren’t quite as good, but seventh was a very creditable placing.
