DR, the Danish national broadcaster, have announced details of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2024 – their national selection for the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest, in Malmo.
Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2024 will take place on Saturday 17th February. The Contest will take place at DR Koncerthuset, which is part of DR Byen, the headquarters of DR in Copenhagen.
The winner will be chosen by a combination of public and jury voting – the jury numbers will increase and will include members from outside of Denmark. The 2024 finalists will be announced in the new year. The submission period has already opened and will close on Friday 27th October.
MGP, the children’s version of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, will take place in the DR Koncerthuset on February 24th – formerly the Danish national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
