
KiKa, the German national broadcaster, have revealed an online national final for the 2023 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Nice.
Following an announcement of an initial internal selection, KiKa have announced an online national final will now take place. On Friday 8th September, the five national finalists will be revealed on the KiKa website, along with one minute video clips of demos of their entries. Voting opens on September 8th and will conclude on Sunday 17th September.
The winner will be declared on Monday 18th September, following a 50% expert jury and 50% online vote – the online vote been available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The full entry and music video is expected to be revealed on Friday 13th October.
