LTV, the Latvian national broadcaster, has confirmed that they will not be participating at the 2023 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Nice.

Latvia have participated at the Contest five times, however they have not participated since 2012. LTV has stated the lack of participation in the Contest in down to their insufficient funds.
