SVT, the Swedish national broadcaster, have proposed a number of potential changes, in their planning for the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest.

The running time of the Grand Final has been quite a topic of recent years, with the show lasting at least, if not exceeding four hours. SVT would like to reduce the Grand Final running time by around an hour – but what would they remove from the show? After all, the broadcaster introduced the flag parade in 2013 and the 50/50 national jury/televoting results split in 2016.

SVT have also chosen two potential dates for the 2024 Grand Final. The two dates that are currently been considered are Saturday 11th May and Saturday 18th May.
