Roger Pontare, the Swedish representative at the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin and the 2000 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, has been jailed for two months.

Roger Pontare was arrested after drunk-driving on the E4 bypass, a main bypass between Sweden and Finland. The arrest took place on January 28th after Roger Pontare was seen swerving and driving on the curb – he was sentenced to two months in jail. This offence comes 15 years after being arrested for the same crime in 2008.
