BHRT, the Bosnian national broadcaster, have confirmed non-participation at the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest, in Sweden.

BHRT are still under sanction, with ongoing debt owed to the European Broadcasting Union. Lejla Babović, BHRT’s Head of International Affairs, had the following to say:

“BHRT is still under EBU sanctions and the country’s participation in the Eurovision Song Contest is not possible, if we don’t solve the debt problems.”
