
Over the course of November, on the lead up to the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, we will be celebrating the countries that are taking part at the Contest and their Junior Eurovision story so far. Today, we begin Maltaās story.
Malta debuted at the 2003 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Copenhagen, Denmark. Sarah Harrison participated with āLike a Starā, finishing in 7th place and 56 points.
Young Talent Team represented Malta at the 2004 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Lillehammer, Norway. They participated with āPower of a Songā, finishing in 12th place and 14 points.
Thea & Friends represented Malta at the 2005 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Hasselt, Belgium. They participated with āMake It Rightā, finishing in 16th and last place, with 18 points.
Sophie Debattista represented Malta at the 2006 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Bucharest, Romania. She participated with āExtra Cuteā, finishing in 11th place and 48 points.
Cute represented Malta at the 2007 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. They participated with āMusicā, finishing in 12th place and 37 points.
