šŸ‡²šŸ‡¹ #JESC22: Malta’s Junior Eurovision Story So Far – Part 1/4

Over the course of November, on the lead up to the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, we will be celebrating the countries that are taking part at the Contest and their Junior Eurovision story so far. Today, we begin Malta’s story.

Malta debuted at the 2003 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Copenhagen, Denmark. Sarah Harrison participated with ā€œLike a Starā€, finishing in 7th place and 56 points.

Young Talent Team represented Malta at the 2004 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Lillehammer, Norway. They participated with ā€œPower of a Songā€, finishing in 12th place and 14 points.

Thea & Friends represented Malta at the 2005 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Hasselt, Belgium. They participated with ā€œMake It Rightā€, finishing in 16th and last place, with 18 points.

Sophie Debattista represented Malta at the 2006 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Bucharest, Romania. She participated with ā€œExtra Cuteā€, finishing in 11th place and 48 points.

Cute represented Malta at the 2007 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. They participated with ā€œMusicā€, finishing in 12th place and 37 points.
