🇳🇴 #JESC22: Remembering Junior Eurovision 2004

Over the course of October and November, on the lead up to the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, we will be celebrating the previous editions of the Contest. Today, we celebrate Lillehammer 2004.

On Saturday 20th November 2004, the 2nd Junior Eurovision Song Contest took place at the Håkons Hall, in Lillehammer, Norway. The show was hosted by Stian Barsnes-Simonsen and Nadia Hasnaoui. The Interval Act was provided by Westlife.

Two countries debuted in Lillehammer – France and Switzerland. They joined Belarus, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Greece, Latvia, Malta, North Macedonia (then known as FYR Macedonia), Norway, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

1st Place: Spain – María Isabel, “Antes muerta que sencilla”
