
On Saturday, the 2022 Eurovision Young Musicians will be taking place from Montpellier, in France. On the lead up to the Contest, we will be looking at each of the participating countries. Today we continue with the Czech Republic.
The Czech Republic debuted at the 2002 Eurovision Young Musicians, which took place in Berlin, Germany. Jakub Tylman participated with the Cello, however failed to place in the top three.
The Czech Republic have placed second in the Contest once. Robert Bílý took second place with the Piano, when the 2016 Eurovision Young Musicians took place in Cologne, Germany.
The Czech Republic last participated at the 2018 Eurovision Young Musicians, in Edinburgh, the United Kingdom. Indi Stivín participated with the Double Bass, however failed to place in the top three.
The Czech Republic will be represented by Daniel Matejča on Saturday, when she participates with the Piano in Montpellier.
