RTV, the San Marinese national broadcaster, have announced that they will not return to the Eurovision Young Musicians this year. No further reasons were given.

San Marino have only participated twice in the Contest – in 2016 and 2018. They withdrew from the Contest ahead of the cancelled 2020 Contest.
