
On the lead up to the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which is been held in Paris, we are looking back at all the countries to have participated in the Contest and their histories – past and present. Today we are starting with Greece.
Greece debuted at the 2003 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Copenhagen, Denmark. Greece were the first ever country to perform at the Contest. Nicolas Ganopoulos participated with “Fili gia panta”, finishing in 8th place and 53 points.
Secret Band represented Greece at the 2004 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Lillehammer, Norway. They participated with “O palios mou eaftos”, finishing in 9th place and 48 points.
Alexandros & Kalli represented Greece at the 2005 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Hassellt, Belgium. They participated with “Tora einai i seira mas”, finishing in 6th place (their best position) and 88 points.
