During the duration of the Olympic Games, which are been held in Tokyo, we will be taking a different Eurovision country each day. Today we are looking at Morocco’s best Eurovision entry, after they took Gold in the Men’s 3000m Steeplechase Athletics competition.
Morocco have made the Final of the Eurovision Song Contest once. In 1980, when the Contest took place in The Hague, The Netherlands, Morocco achieved their best position to date with a 18th place. Samira Bensaïd performed “Bitaqat Hub” and achieved a total of 7 points.
