UMK 2022 will be shown live on Spanish television, after YLE, the Finish national broadcaster agreed terms with TEN, the Spanish independent broadcaster. This is the second successful attempt at TEN broadcasting Eurovision national selections, following the agreement with ERR, the Estonian national broadcaster, to show Eesti Laul 2022 live.

Earlier this year (2021), TEN were unsuccessful in securing the live rights to the Grand Final of Melodifestivalen.
