
The UEFA 2020 European Championships are here after a postponement of one year – more commonly known as Euro 2020. Each day, we will upload tracks into our Jukebox articles, to accompany the matches played on that day. Today sees two matches – Italy vs. Wales and Switzerland vs. Turkey.
Italy – “Non ho l’età”
Gigliola Cinquetti represented Italy at the 1964 Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen, Denmark. Gigliola sang “Non ho l’età” and finished in 1st place, with a total of 49 points.
Wales (UK) – “Come Back”
Jessica Garlick represented the United Kingdom at the 2002 Eurovision Song Contest in Tallinn, Estonia. Jessica sang “Come Back” and finished in 3rd place, with a total of 111 points.
Switzerland – “Pas pour moi”
Daniela Simmons represented Switzerland at the 1986 Eurovision Song Contest in Bergen, Norway. Daniela sang “Pas pour moi” and finished in 2nd place, with a total of 140 points.
Turkey – “Dinle”
Şebnem Paker & Grup Etnik represented Turkey at the 1997 Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin, Ireland. Şebnem Paker & Grup Etnik sang “Dinle” and finished in 3rd place, with a total of 121 points.
