Isa Malikov, the Azerbaijani Head of Delegation, has revealed a total of 229 songs have been submitted for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest – with Efendi having already been internally selected again, after last year’s cancellation of the Contest.

It has also been revealed that the song that Efendi will be singing, will be revealed during the second week of May.
