Today, TVR – The Romanian Broadcaster, has started the national phase of Eurovision 2021 under the slogan #ealtceva (it is something else).

In a premiere for Romania, this year, the song competing in Rotterdam will be chosen exclusively only by the jury.

Starting with today, Roxen will record demo songs and send them to the jury to decide which one could bring the trophy this year to Romania.

Roxen was supposed to represent Romania at Eurovision Song Contest 2020, but due to its cancellation, TVR decided to nominate her as the Romanian representative for Eurovision 2021.

The national phase of Eurovision Romania will end at the end of February, when we will find out the song which will compete in Rotterdam.
