Khabar Agency, the Kazakh broadcaster, are ready to continue their participation at the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Zhazira Dyussembekova, the Head of Delegation, had the following to say:

“Kazakhstan has shown a great result for the second time in a row. That is why we are very happy with the result of the final. Every year the Junior Eurovision Song Contest is becoming more popular in Kazakhstan and more people are getting interested and involved in the process. Considering it was the third time only for Kazakhstan, we think those results are astonishing. It is very likely that Kazakhstan will participate in the next Junior Eurovision Song Contest, but the exact answer will be announced later.”

Because Khabar Agency are only an Associate Member of the European Broadcasting Union, they cannot confirm participation automatically. As an Associate Member, they will have to wait for an invitation to participate.
