RAI, the Italian national broadcaster, are still undecided whether or not they will participate in this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest, since the change in format. This comes after the European Broadcasting Union announced they were open to more broadcasters joining since the change in format announcement.

Simona Martorelli, the new Italian Head of Delegation, had the following to say:

“Unfortunately RAI has not made his final decision yet, as various elements are being considered in this unprecedented period.”
