Liechtenstein will not be making their debut at next year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam.

Currently, 1FLTV, the national broadcaster of Liechtenstein, is not an Active Member of the European Broadcasting Union. Active membership is a requirement for participation at the Contest.

Finances would then pose a problem if active membership of the EBU was achieved. 1FLTV would have to ask for support from the government to help fund any participation.
