Could we see another Eurasian nation, like Russia, participate at this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest?

Sadly not. TRT, the Turkish national broadcaster have confirmed the news to Eurofestivales earlier today. TRT stated they do not participate in any Eurovision contests. TRT previously participated in the Eurovision Song Contest between 1975 and 2012.
