
OGAE Australia have held a vote to discover the best Non-Qualifier from the Eurovision Song Contest, since the Semi Finals were introduced in 2004.
The Top 100 was announced in a countdown via the official OGAE Australia Twitter feed. The Top 10 features ten different countries – including Slovakia, who currently don’t participate in the Eurovision Song Contest. The Top 10 best Non-Qualifiers were:
- “Verona” – Koit Toome & Laura (Estonia 2017)
- “Hear Them Calling” – Greta Salome (Iceland 2016)
- “Stones” – ZiBBZ (Switzerland 2018)
- “Je t’adore” – Kate Ryan (Belgium 2006)
- “Blackbird” – Norma John (Finland 2017)
- “Dance Alone” – Jana Burceska (North Macedonia 2017)
- “Telemoveis” – Conan Osiris (Portugal 2019)
- “Horehronie” – Kristina (Slovakia 2010)
- “Paper” – Svala (Iceland 2017)
- “Space” – Slavko (Montenegro 2017)
Ireland wasn’t completely forgotten in the Top 100, with five Irish entries featuring outside of the Top 10. They were:
- (52) “22” – Sarah McTernan (2019)
- (55) “Playing With Numbers” – Molly Sterling (2015)
- (67) “Sunlight” – Nicky Byrne (2017)
- (68) “Heartbeat” – Can Linn feat. Kasey Smith (2014)
- (77) “Irelande Douze Points” – Dustin The Turkey (2008)
Congratulations goes to Koit Toome & Laura for topping the poll with “Verona”. A special mention goes to Sarah McTernan for been the best Irish Non-Qualifier within the Top 100.
