It’s the result we have all suspected for months – Destiny Chukunyere has won the X Factor Malta and will sing for the island nation at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020!

Destiny won Junior Eurovision in 2015 and joins the ever expanding list of JESC singers to go to Eurovision – but she is so far the only the second winner of Junior Eurovision to make the transition to the adult’s contest, after the Tolmachevy Sisters sang for Russia in 2014.

Is this a good omen? Could Malta get their long awaited win at last?
