Just a few hours ago, TVR’s Board of Directors approved Romania’s participation at Eurovision 2020 in Rotterdam.

The decision with number 153/16.09.2019 states that TVR (The Romanian National Broadcaster) will take part at the 65th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest 2020. The funds for TVR’s participation will come from a mixture of state funds and TVR’s own sources.

Earlier this year, Romania finished 13th in the Second Semi-Final with Ester Peony’s – On A Sunday (71 points), failing to qualify for the final for the second year consecutively.
