It is now the end of June and the participation deadline for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest is upon us.
Not that surprisingly, Greece have confirmed that they will not be returning to the Contest this year – although no specific reason has been given by ERT. Greece last participated back in 2008, when the Contest was held in Limassol.
Greece’s best result came in 2005, when Alexandros & Kalli finished in 6th place, with their entry “Tora einai i seira mas”.
Česká Televize, the National Broadcaster of the Czech Republic, have revealed a debut in Gliwice will not be happening. Jan Maxa, the Head of Delegation for Eurovision has revealed their focussing their energy and resources on the Eurovision Song Contest.
Česká Televize had participated in both Eurovision Young Musicians 2018 and Eurovision Young Dancers 2017.
