Next year, Melodi Grand Prix will be celebrating it’s 60th anniversary in a special way. MGP will have five semi finals (all in Oslo), along with the traditional Oslo based final.

Each of the five semi finals will feature artists from a particular region of Norway – Northern, Southern, Western, Eastern and Central. One qualifier from each semi final will be chosen by the public, while another will be chosen by a jury.
