In 1994, the 39th Eurovision Song Contest took place in the Point Depot, Dublin. Paul Harrington and Charlie McGettigan took part for Ireland, becoming their sixth entry to win for their country. Paul Harrington and Charlie McGettigan finished with a 60 point margin over their nearest competitor, Edyta Gorniak from Poland.

1997: United Kingdom
In 1997, the 42nd Eurovision Song Contest took place in the Point Depot, Dublin. Katrina and the Waves took part for the United Kingdom, becoming their fifth entry to win for their country. Katrina and the Waves finished with a 70 point margin over their nearest competitor, Marc Roberts from Ireland.

2008: Russia
In 2008, the 53rd Eurovision Song Contest took place in the Belgrade Arena, Belgrade. Dima Bilan took part for Russia, becoming their first entry to win for his country. Dima Bilan finished with a 42 point margin over his nearest competitor, Ani Lorak from Ukraine.
