Each day, I aim to bring you a couple of highlights and lowlights from this year’s Contest here in Lisbon. What did Day 8 have to offer us yesterday?

Highlights

• The Blue Carpet took place – while we were out in the sun for six hours, we have some fabulous coverage coming your way over the next day or so.

Lowlights

• The United Kingdom drawing the First Half in the running order for the Final on Saturday – we’d all prefer Second Half.
