NEW RTE tv show to celebrate Ireland’s 50th Anniversary at Eurovision
RTE and Ireland are celebrating 50 years at Eurovision this year and that deserves acknowledgement and a stiff drink!
An RTE show will be presented by Angela Scanlon and it will look back at Ireland’s most memorable moments in the contest.
No stone will be uncovered in this documentary tracing the Irish entries from the winners to the losers.
Angela Scanlon went to the contest last year in Copenhagen to gain some first hand knowledge of the show.
“The show celebrates all things Eurovision” according to Scanlon.
No official date has been set for the airing of the show but expect it before Vienna where Eurovision will be celebrating its own birthday.
