Speaking on radio she Trijntje said

“It’s quite catchy. It is different than you expect from me. But my ambition to win is there and I’m going to give everything.”

Cornald Maas described “Walk along” as a song that between mid-tempo and up pace is in. “It is melancholy and freezes well. It certainly has the potential to win.”

So is this the winner for the Netherlands? Will this take them to the Grand Final for a third time in a row? Is this the song that will go Top 10 for the Netherlands for a third time in a row too?

  1. Qualify for the Final – Yes.

Match the success of Anouk and The Common Linnets in the Final? I think that the Dutch might be disappointed this year, as expectations will be higher than at any point in the last ten years. Top 10 at best, more likely mid-table.

  2. It’s OK. A bit samey and repetitive, but she has a good voice. That said, I don’t think The Netherlands will be teetering on the top of the scoreboard come May 23rd…
