Switzerland have started to share the entries they have received by the broadcaster SRF for their Eurovision 2015 selection.
As the contest is open to participants both nationally and internationally we were pleasantly surprised to see singers from across Europe enter. One caught our eye in particular. Dublin singer/songwriter Ben Pyne is one of the first songs to be featured on the SRF Eurovision platform.
Ben’s song is called ‘Catch me if you can’ and it is a modern country/folk guitar based mid-tempo song. With the success of The Common Linnets at Eurovision this year, there is certainly a desire for music of this genre and quality at the contest.
You can listen to Ben’s song HERE.
SRF will be uploading more hopeful entrants onto their Eurovision page here over the course of the coming weeks. Then they will open up the vote to the public to select their favourites. We expect more entrants from across Europe and Ireland to be making an appearance in the Swiss selection.
We like Ben’s song but tell us what you think?
