Donatan and Cleo are back and they have me hot under the collar yet again and we don’t even have a video with a seductive Slavic woman yet. The Polish ‘Dynamic Duo’ have released the old school ‘Ten Czas’ along with rapper Kamil Bednarek.

This for me is a throwback the smooth grooves of the 90’s. Think of songs like ‘It was a good day’ from Ice Cube when you listen to ‘Ten Czas’. It has that great hip-hop beat with Cleo’s amazing soul vocals towering over the song. I saw them perform in Dublin and if you get the chance to see Donatan and Cleo live then DO IT!

Kamil Bednarek adds some great rapping to this song which gives great contrast to the sweet stringed orchestral chords of the song. This is a mid-tempo dance song that really lets you ‘shake what your mama gave you’. It really annoys me when people say that they are an act based on image. Those people are firmly rooted in the stone age and really need to get out more and take a listen to the quality of Donatan and Cleo’s music. Each of their follow-up songs since Eurovision have been of real quality and added something else to their repertoire of music.

‘Ten Czas’ is by far the best song that the Polish Duo have released and should see them storm the charts.
