PORTUGAL – Catarina Pereira came second to Suzy in the Portuguese national selection for Eurovision 2014. A local media storm went into full force with alleged death threats. After the dust has now settled, Pereira has released an English version of ‘Mea Culpa’

Many Portuguese fans were not shy in coming forward saying that ‘Mae Culpa’ should have gone to Copenhagen. Petitions were created and signed and tempers flared on-line.

However Pereira now hopes to score a Summer hit with her song. The video is full of lots of handsome men looking moody and stunning ladies dancing by the sea. It comes just at the right time when World Cup fever is about to grip the world.
