Have you ever wondered how the results are calculated at the Eurovision Song Contest? Well the team at Eurovision have put together this video that explains how your vote gets counted, verified and contributes to the overall vote from your country.
As a member of the public you can vote by Telephone, SMS or the Official Eurovision App.
This is another step in how the EBU is working to show the transparency and accuracy of the voting system that they have in place.
When you vote – do you telephone, sms or use the official Eurovision App?

Nope, I couldn’t get through from the Netherlands.
And, I’m a dinosaur, I don’t have (and don’t want) a mobile phone. (Can you believe that?)
Last year I tried to vote during the Final (by telephone), but the line was dead… (Tried several times)
Was I the only one? I never heard anything about it, but then again, nobody in the Netherlands is that interested…
Voting in the Semi Final went ok, (just as all the other times in past years) so it couldn’t have been me….
You could not get through on the voting lines Edith? In The Netherlands?
The UK couldn’t use the app last year…maybe this year?
I didn’t know that Martin. I must check that for this year. Thanks
