GERMANY – NDR (German National Broadcaster) have announced that there have been 2240 submissions to their “Wildcard Selection” for “Unser Song für Dänemark” which is the German National Selection for Eurovision 2014.
The wildcard selection show will take place in Hamburg. The 2240 acts will be competing for 1 place in the German National Final. The concept of the “Wildcard Selection” process is to attract fresh new talent to Eurovision within Germany.
A pre-selection will be chaired by Barbara Schöneberger where 10 acts will compete in the “Wildcard Final” on February 27th. The winner will then go on to compete in “Unser Song für Dänemark” on March 13th.
