For anyone who is still looking at X-Factor in the UK, you will have seen over the weekend that a former Israeli Eurovision National Finalist, was on your screens auditioning for Louis Walsh.

Chen Aharoni – who participated in the Israeli National Eurovisoin Final in 2011 – was auditioning at the “Boot camp” stage at the UK’s X-Factor.

Louis Walsh – who is mentoring the Boys Category – failed to progress Chen to the final stages of the contest.

Chen’s first audition saw him receive 4 “yes” votes from the judges and progress onto the live stadium performances where he was again successful.

This weekend unfortunately saw Louis send Chen home from the competition.

Chen was a finalist in the Israeli National Eurovision Selection in 2011 with the song “Or/Light” – where he placed 4th.
