Spain have confirmed that they will be participating at Eurovision 2014.

They have this morning launched their Official RTVE (Spanish National Broadcaster) Eurovision website where they will be publishing their plans for 2014.

Recently the broadcaster had to defend their decision to participate in the contest to the Spanish Parliament. Thankfully the Spanish government saw it wise to stay in the contest – to our relief,

There is no conformation as yet if Spain will internally select an artist to represent them at Eurovision like in 2013 and 2012 – and allow the public to select the song to sing OR will they revert to a national final? There is certainly an appetite among Spanish singers and fans for this.
