Irish Eurovision singer Brian Kennedy, was recently interviewed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival by our good friend Ewan Spence from ESC Insight.
Brian Kennedy was in Edinburgh where he was performing 2 shows at the world-famous “Fringe Festival”. Ewan caught up with the “Every Song Is A Cry For Love” singer. Eurovision for Kennedy was a positive experience for the performer and he did not rule out a return to the contest at a later date. As always, the song would have to be “right” for Kennedy to make a return. Kennedy brought Ireland to the Top 10 at the Eurovision Song Contest in Athens in 2006.
Kennedy was supportive of the contest and Ryan Dolan’s performance in Malmo. He will be touring “down under” in Australia and is an expert at plugging his album and website – as you will hear. Good man Brian.
Here is the podcast/interview that Ewan had with Brian. Kennedy’s interview is the last 10 minutes of the show. You can listen here
Brian performed an original acoustic song that he wrote – he calls it his “Busking Song”
Do you think Brian could bring Ireland back to the Top 10 at Eurovision again?
