Meet your 2013 Eurovision winners “K-Otic” from The Netherlands – oops sorry. It depends what media you are reading across Europe at present. Above at the Dutch band “K-Otic” whose 2002 song “I Surrender” is being cited as a possible source of inspiration to Emmelie de Forest’s Eurovision winning song from 2013 “Only Teardrops”. See for yourself. One cannot deny that the similarities in the chorus hook that has made “Only Teardrops” distinctive including that darn tin whistle that they gave out in the Press Halls – “Oh the Bells”!!
