Tonight , this year’s host nation, Austria, held their National Final ” Vienna Calling….Wer singt für Österreich?” ( Who will sing for Austria ) , in Vienna , Austria. The show was hosted by Cesar Sampson, who represented Austria in 2018 and Alice Tumler, who was one of the hosts when the contest was last held in Vienna in 2015, Twelve acts competed for the honour of representing the host nation they were as follows :

1. Anna-Sophie – “Superhuman”
2. Sidrit Vokshi – “Wenn ich rauche” (When I smoke)
3. Kayla Kristin – “I brenn” (I’m burning)
4. Reverend Stomp – “Mescalero Ranger”
5. Bamlak Werner – “We Are Not Just One Thing”
6. Philip Piller – “Das Leben ist Kunst” (Life is art)
7. Nikotin – “Unsterblich” (Immortal)
8. David Kurt – “Pockets Full of Snow”
9. Julia Steen – “Julia”
10. Frevd – “Riddle”
11. Lena Schaur – “Painted Reality”
12. Cosmó – “Tanzschein”

The winning act was chosen by 50% Jury vote, 50% public vote, There could only be one winner and that is :

Cosmó with the song Tanzschein” .

As Austria are the host nation , the winning act goes directly to the Grand Final in Vienna on 16th May .
