The road to Vienna just got a lot more interesting. After 67 songs were performed during the intense live semifinal phase in Bucharest the results are finally in. Exactly ten acts have been handpicked to move forward to the big night.

The three day audition process wrapped up yesterday on February 11 and the jury certainly had their hands full with such a massive variety of music. Out of the dozens of hopefuls who took the stage at the TVR studios only ten survived the cuts. This marathon session was the first major step in finding a successor for the 2026 season.

Now those ten finalists are shifting their focus to the Grand Final which is officially scheduled for Wednesday March 4 2026.

This year is particularly special because it marks the official return of Romania to the Eurovision stage. The pressure is on and the stakes are massive especially since the winner of the final will be decided by a 100 percent jury vote. It is going to be a night of pure drama as we finally find out who will represent the nation in Austria this May.
